Connection Type: Cable
Modem: Motorola SB4200E SURFBoard
Router: N/A
Internet Service Provider: HTV
Location: Finland

Problem Encountered at Step #: 8
Which Program: Allegiance
What Error Message: Failed to connect to lobby

Ok this problem came after I installed SP2 (i think)

I'm using Sygate Firewall but i have tried disabling it
However, when i try to check windows firewall, it wont let me use it "because of an unidentified problem" !

Dunno what to do :/ Any help appreciated :)

If this problem cropped up when you installed SP 2 then the windows firewall is almost certainly the problem. Sounds like the WF is not working properly though, maybe try reinstalling SP2 or wait for a better suggestion from here.

thx for a quick reply! yeah i think it's the firewall too.. I tried to reinstall SP2 but it still wont let me open the firewall's settings

i googled some and found a solution to disable the firewall using command promt

and now it works again! /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

almost a day without alleg... gotta make up the difference!
