Not that we are having issues with any of the current servers. Just curious. What specs does a machine have to have in order to run Allegiance? How good does your connection have to be?

Computer doesn't need to be overly fantastic, I'm guessing 500mhz+

Your connection needs really nice latency, a reasonably semi-static ip, cable/adsl.

I think that's about correct. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
n.b. I may not see a forum post replied to me or a pm sent to me for weeks and weeks...

Computational Power? You don't need a lot.
RAM? You don't need a lot - 512mb would suffice (if that's the only thing the server's running)
Connection speed? The more bandwidth you have, the more can play at once, but you don't need to necessarily go crazy. A business-class "high-end" cable package should work fine.

Connection latency? This is the main problem. You need to do whatever you can to decrease the hops between your server and the internet. Your server must be able to receive/respond fast, so make sure you have a good quality network card running at gigabit speeds, and don't throw too many routers/hubs inbetween it and the 'net.
