I'm having this problem too. Any word from the governor?

Here's what I get, though:

QUOTE • Checking for system updates
• Checking for existing processes
• Saving Settings
• Unable to Save Registry Values.
• Access to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\1.0\ASGS\2.0 is denied.
• Checking connectivity
• Using Port: DirectPlay
• Checking ASGS Client Version
• Client Version: 127
• Server Version: 127
• Securing Installation
• Unable to secure Allegiance installation.
• Object reference not set to an instance of an object.[/quote]

Since your problem is different from legerdemain's, and since the Read Me First (which I'm sure you've read) asks you to please refrain from posting your problems in other people's topics, I have split your post.

If you are getting the "Access Denied" error, then your windows account does not have access to read/write to the Allegiance registry keys.

With an Administrator account on your machine, launch regedit and find Allegiance's keys. Make sure they are accessible from the user account you will use to play Allegiance.

If you have any further questions, just ask.

Good luck,
