Scrolling newbie server message

I was thinking the other day, after telling the third person in five minutes the same thing, would it be possible to have an auto scrolling message with basic information in the newbie servers? I remember we used to have one for a short time, (when the zone died?) giving general information, but it wasn't playable.

It may not be do-able but there are plenty of times when I log into the newbie server and see a group of 0's and 1's who can't even open the chat pane.

Maybe a script that posts tips from HQ: like the "Game xxx on server xxx has ended" messages?

It could be set to post a number of basic tips at a 5 min (or whatever) interval whenever it detects players on the newbie server.

I think it was a bot that sat in the lobby spouting off about how great naniting is and how you should be nice and not upset people by podding them.
