TS overlay Beta

Is someone using Teamspeak Overlay Beta? When im using it in game my game is hell lagging. This apply when is no one speaking at all. Does anybody know why? Or at least optimal setting for not lagging?

I haved used it for years with no issues. But I would assume your computer/connection can not handle all the traffic.

I use TSO Alpha. I don't lag at all.

He said it happens when no one speaks too.

What kind of lag do you get? Does the game get really slow or do you have lag where your enemies jump around too much and have problems passing through alephs?

Since TSO is still an "alpha" release, it's not compatible with all video cards, or with all drivers.

It sounds like TSO is causing a framerate drop while running.
I'd consult TSO's website/forums for others experiencing the same problem, and look for suggestions they make on solving the problem.

Hm when i use it it slows my scout/fig so not jumping but i turn much slower and the reaction are not OK. Could someone post here his settings who has Overlay and internet speed near 1024/256?

open TeamSpeak log in

open ASGS DO NOT LOG IN

open TSO enable it

Log into ASGS

TSO is testy. At one point in time, TSO wouldn't work at all for me unless I reinstalled my video card drivers, then restarted. If I restarted twice, it wouldn't work.

Masta, were you trying to run Fraps at the same time? I found last night that TSO will not show if you have fraps running.

I have been using TSO and TS and Allegiance -- all with no problems and it does not matter what sequence I use to open the various programs.

The down side to this is -- I actually hear Masta singing.

Yeah, not fun. So I have to make a descision wether I want to grab some good screens/videos or to see whos trying to bother people on TS. Usually I leave fraps on and dont run TS. Squad games I have TS/TSO but no fraps. Just a thing you gotta live with /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doh:" border="0" alt="doh.gif" /> .
