Can't connect to lobby

OK I can't connect to the lobby, but I opened the ports 2300-2400 tcp and ued. I have checked if i have net. framwork and I think i do. my firewall is not blocking it. and I made sure I have the latest drivers.
my set up is
-Cabal internet
-belkin router
-MacAFee firewall
-Emuchin (2.7 amd, 1024 ram, 6600 nvidea, 32 bit)

if it helps I have been able to connect to the lobby sometimes but never been able to get into a game.

PS is it have to be open ports 2300 and 2400 or open port 2300-2400?

It's the range of ports, 2300-2400, all 101 of them.

What error message are you getting while you're trying to enter a game? Are you sure your firewall is passing the allegiance traffic through? Do you have any other firewall/internet security software that may be blocking?

Filled to connect to lobby. But I can't accsse the router anymore because it lost its router data, wich I foud was any easy fix. But my dad said I can't use the router anymore untill I am a network adminastrater so oh well.

Is there any way to play without messing with the router?

Unfortunately not.

In the future, Allegiance will be updated to work transparently through routers, but that won't be ready for a while.
Plead with your dad, or ask him to add the port triggering or forwarding rule. There are instructions in the knowledgebase under the "Failed to connect to lobby" fix.

I'm gona what till that patch comes out... I realy did mess it up. when i tryed agen we allmost had to buy a new one because something go messed up with the plug-n-play thing. or I will take some classes on being a network guy and then try to figger it out. our network is just to unstable to not know what your doing when you mess with. But at lest someday I can play it.
