If you don't already have the beta (client version 0712 or 0715) get this (it is just over a meg download).

Beta Installer

It is easy to play in the beta and it won't effect your 'regular' allegiance install.

The goal is to have a 'regular' game with normal settings and two decent coms.

Only 40 people have read the beta announcement, and if 50% show that is still not enough for any type of stress test.

I'd love to show up, but it is at 3am in germany. I doubt I will make it.

Yeah, I know it is a particularly bad time for those on the other side of the pond.

Feel free to plan a test game 9 PM GMT or on the weekend. Both Sat and Sun are booked for me mid-day but don't let the stop you guys from playing.

well I just tried, looks like I need some tech support.
Says log in using asgs which I did . Tried checking use beta on asgs and unchecking launch allegiance, didn't help
still says unable to connect-use asgs
<edit> OK trick is to NOT use desktop beta icon and just use asgs then check on asgs beta mode then connect. People who haven't tried beta before (or don't scan the forums) won't know that
