desktop firewall

right now I am using seagate personal firewall, but its not getting updated anymore, since its been bought by some other company. so I need some new firewall on my pc.

which one can you recommend?

Oh please... it is a bitch to configure. Why do you need to update the firewall anyway? It's not an antivirus or anti-spyware...

some viruses / worms / whatever disable your firewall. unless it is new and protected against such @#(!.

Unless you hear about an exploit for that firewall, you do not need to update it. (I am still using Sygate Firewall on my computers)
