Mr. B. is aware of the problem. Apparently some 10% of people can't connect. Blame your connection, your shrink, or your fluffy tebby bear. (not to be confused with the Fluffy Tyrant)

jsknight I thought was able to connect previously.

There was an update to alleg today, sadly servers don't like to autoupdate and I was unaware it was happening today.

When this happened no one could connect to any FTX server as the files on the server weren't meshing with the files on your computer.

This is now fixed.

Several hours of anarchy playing Effix and others on the FTX EoR 6a server has been happening. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Of course if it wasn't a sync error and you couldn't connect at all, well then FreeBeer is correct.

Those having issues with inability to connect at all (not a sync error), or that suffer drops, or horrible lag (regular not occasional lag) in the 600+ nature of whaco-ness, please post here. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Dunno if this was ever pointed out, so I'll just toss this observation in:

I had no problem connecting when I first tried today. Got in, played a bit, game over, nice. No noticable lag (I didn't check it as nothing seemed out of the ordinary).

Went over to DN for a bit. Went back to EoR (FTX) and couldn't get in. Tried several times and eventually got in. Seems to be ok now. Maybe it's a random traffic-related problem?

Hmm, could have been traffic - hard to say.

Around that time was a decent sized game, about 20 player or so; http://asgs.alleg.net/asgsnet/recentgames.aspx?gameid=12473

Not sure how the lag was, didn't notice anything myself (then again I never would I hope, when the server host has lag, time to pack it in lol). /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

At what stage do you get to then, is it the logging in part then you get can't connect?

Also please post your isp and internet plan, usual DN lag/latency and ping.
