thats sounds good! I was solo testing- there's some things that are kinda impossible to do your self

TL;DR
The beta client crashes when you try to shut it down by pressing right upper corner X.
Like in the game lobby.

I found the same thing - game locks up if you try to exit the game (I tried both hitting the upper-right X and exiting out through the menus... once I hit "exit" on the main menu it locks up on me.)
I ran into another issue today. With a brand-spanking-new account, when I tried to join an existing game, or create my own game, I was told my rank was not correct for this game. First time I saw this error anywhere. The account, naturally, had a zero rank, and the game had "Any" as the rank limiter.
And for you guys wanting to point fingers - yes, I created a separate game account unlinked to my main nick. I did this for the purpose of testing (on a new machine) the first-time user experience. Testing not only the beta, but the new installer to simulate what a new player might encounter. I've identified a few rough areas and they will be addressed. Besides, I suck - you can't tell the difference between my game play and that of a fresh (0) newbie.

I had the same problem. Logging without ASGS resolves the issue, of course.

Hmm.. didn't try that. If true, that would indicate some kind of issue between ASGS and the server itself, no?

I think it's more to do with the (0) in brackets. Try logging in without ASGS but put a (0) after your name, it'll still complain.

I'll give that a try if I get a moment today.

When a faction is set to RANDOM, when the game launches, the countdown screen will show one faction's logo and start message, but once the game actually starts, you may well end up being a completely different faction in reality. For example, on the start screen you may see the Rix logo, and then discover you are Gigacorp.
Also in game, hitting F6 will still show the same logo as the start screen, even if this doesn't match what you actually are (so in above example, as Giga, you'd still see Rix' logo for your team in F6).
ALSO in game, your
pods will be those of the faction on the start screen and in F6, rather than the faction you actually are. So, in the above example, if you get podded as Giga, you will find yourself floating home in a Rixian Unity pod.
---
Sometimes, when trying to start a game with multiple teams, the AFK checkmark will come on for all teams seemingly every few seconds, as if someone has changed the game settings -- even if no-one changed the game settings at all.

Girly: have you tested this with Bios pods while playing another faction? Can you still rip home or do your pods act as they should and its just a graphics problem?
