I'm not sure if you are referring to Paradigm or ImmortalZ, but let me assure you that they have been playing this game for a very very long time. If they say you were out to lunch, then you were out to lunch. Instead of lashing out, I recommend reflecting on where you may have went wrong and striving to correct it.

Scrolling the chat is pg up/down by default, and the remapping explained at the academy does not move their position. I have a few recommendations for you. Next time you start your game, I would spend a good 5 minutes in the control pane, finding/fixing those settings. If you wish to extend your window, CortUI will let you add lines to the chat.

@cadet has no rank restrictions and none were ever discussed. Much of the work is done on your own, so you don't need to worry about the schedule. You will need to contact BlackViper to get on the list, however. A new session is about to start, so this is your chance.

Honestly, games played in the dead of the night are typically crap. People get a little kooky as alcohol sets in. Stacks and dumb settings abound. If you can't play during US primetime, consider playing on the weekends.
Allow me to make an observation: In almost everything you've posted about this game (and grammar), you've been entirely wrong despite a having an immense amount of confidence about your correctness. Accordingly, perhaps you should consider the idea that you really don't understand this game (or this community) all that well. If you intend on sticking around, it well do you well to drop the pretense. In this community, the amount of derision heaped upon a clueless player is inversely related to how much of an excuse they have for their ignorance. As a newbie, you still have a decent excuse, but the gap is closing. Assert you own rightness in as confident and confrontational manner as you can, and you will quickly squander your reputation and the good will of this community (95% of whom are authentically nice).

You cannot write how you speak. For example, I stutter. Now you claim to have aced grammar. Congratulations. You know that I'm a part time mathematics grad student, and I've aced every math class I've taken since 1993. Still, whenever I (as a teacher) add something wrong in math class, there are 5 teenagers who can spot my error in an instant. So please suffer the notion that your writing (on this forum) sucks. I'm confident that if your English teachers saw it, they would gather around you and take turns kicking you in the balls. Ellipses are not a grammatical utility knife. Please, for the love of god, stop using them as such. Your stuttering isn't that bad Clay. You just get stuck on a particular word on occasion.

Your beginning to bother me since the posting are basically puffer, self righteousness, and plain know-it-allness. See normally Im 100% on the side of the new guy who just joined since Im a returning player who has been through the STFU noob spanking machine twice. Neither time was it a barrel of laughs but tbt I received almost zero hazing from this community in the forums, even when I got up on the old soap box and spoke my mind. When I returned almost no one remembered me so I got no slack btw.
In game Ive seen some pretty bad behavior towards others but not continuously or endlessly. When I first came bak couldn't remember the damn key settings, played with a cell phone as my modem, on a Pentitium II etc etc. To say my ingame performance wasn't setting the world on fire would be very fair indeed. I only been booted one time since my return ( over a year now ) and that was a boot "so ranks dont count" and I just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Ive been yelled at less then five times ingame with it being 50/50 whether I deserved it. I was squaded up as soon as I left cadet ( ended up having four offers out of the clear blue sky ) and all this even though I can be a very strong cup of tea indeed. Maybe this isnt a fair comparision to make since you are truly a new guy here and all but you might want to reflect on my experience in contrast.
Guys like you come and usually go I use to mourn the loss of new players but Im coming to realize some just need to leave. Ive decided to put you in this catagory since I just don't feel your worth the energy needed to convince you to stay so please from the bottom of my Care Bear heart:
