Mr. Darkpriest666+1,
You have to be a bit fluent in English to play this game.
Punctuation marks and short paragraphs aren't a joke, are a need here.
You have to follow this community guidelines (looking for Alleg TS server, applying for the CADET course, looking for the Academy which has a VERY HIDDEN LINK in the FAO starting page, looking at the common questions & answers put up by a bunch of mates here through years of hard work for you to ignore them, etc).
Respect and you will be respected.
Don't $#@!ing start another trolling thread until you have grasped some idea about what's going on here, you are not having intercourse with a bunch of anormals in this forum/game.
We, as a whole, try to help as best as we can everyone, newcomer or not, there is a special operations corps created primarily with the task to keep running the game at all times AND protect newcomers following the Rules of Conduct, dig a bit and find them for yourself buddy.
Enjoy the game, ask around and WAIT for the responses, noone here was born with the sole intent of answering your questions right away.
Be glad we haven't burned you a la Joan D'Arc, you really deserved it after your post attacking us all and not answering after more than 30 replies.
Have a nice day and stop producing goatcheese, see you in game, feel free to ask me anything but don't expect me to be able to answer you instantly or even answering you, sometimes chatlines just pass by.

Btw, hardly any of the players are 15 or below. Most of the players / vets are your age and above. Often the players have children that are 15 and older. Unlike in other gaming communities, you don't have unreadable and pointless posts on every page of a thread because people are adults.
Anyway, now that you calmed down, I hope you enjoy your further stay in the community. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Grimm you evidently havent been to a WoW guild forum yet.
People dont have to be children to be REALLY REALLY massive trolls /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Wow isnt that impressive, its a shame that your posts dont seem to prove it much.Darkpriest667 wrote:QUOTE (Darkpriest667 @ Jun 24 2007, 08:58 AM) this aint your highschool and you aint my teacher... I got a 4.0 in Grammer and Writing.. i wrote good for 20 years... Kiss my behind LOL..
Darkpriest667 wrote:QUOTE (Darkpriest667 @ Jun 24 2007, 08:58 AM) THANKS FOR ALL THE RESPONSE obviously the forum community is much more forgiving of criticism and questions...
On the Academy side... I do not believe i can enter the cadet program as I am a Novice 7... I would still like to participate.. but my job and my other responsibilities make it hard for me to find time to commit to sessions... Mondays and Tuesdays are best... But id be interested in being contacted by one of the Cadet trainers... My msn is Darkpriest667@hotmail.com.. this is generally the best way to contact me..
It doesnt matter what rank you are the only requirement to join cadet is to ask. Cadet isnt time-consuming you don't have to be online all the time to do it, most of it is some reading which you can do in your free time, I would say trust me but ive never done cadet, but then again I am a Joe Genius /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> (dw that one will prolly go over your head). Cadet is handy though as you will be able to get answers for all your questions, for me I have to ask the experts and hope not to get laughed at while at Cadet you won't get humiliated. Many of the community members are very nice people but its hard to ask questions in-game mid-game as the only people who will reply mainly will be the ass^s who go STFU newb RTFM!!!
Indented paragraphs, hee hee and you call yourself some type of forum expert.Darkpriest667 wrote:QUOTE (Darkpriest667 @ Jun 24 2007, 08:58 AM) There, now all of you with the whining issues can get over my lack of will to create paragraphs... I even Indented them :-p

About your question of how to add more lines of text and stuff, go here: GUI Modification as far as scrolling the text I use the RePag and AvPag keys (I don't know if thats their name in english but they are above the cursor keys, I think you have to click the text box first with the mouse).

All it did was put you in a straight line. Half the time it ran you into the sun, a planet (or both), and the other half of the time it missed the 'warp hole' altogether, then went back to where you started and came back, hitting the sun/planet again, and probably missing the 'warp hole' again as well!
What can I say, fond memories of Star Control II.
