Actually I think it should depend on the booster. Booster 1 is about right it's hard to boost 2 sectors over with it and get home in time for dinner. Maybe a slight nerf but not much. Booster2 is way too efficient, this is where I'd nerf it. Booster3 should be performing like Booster2 does now.

I was thinking in terms of Ints using Boosters, not boosters by themselves. Figs with BoosterX is fine or could maybe use a slight perk. Ints with booster2+ should maybe be nerfed. Catch my drift?

Ints barely ever get anything but booster 1... your argument is thus wrong.

if your commander buys a sup just for booster2, there is an issue. And the only people that can get it, Belts, need booster to ofset their horrible turning, speed etc.

If I'm Exp, I won't buy a Sup for booster2 alone. But I will for ship hull 1 (booster2 and agility come as icing on an already uber cake).

I can see a 5-10% hit in fuel as a good thing. I think that EXP has the ability to peform more roles then most other techs in a limited degree. Limited feul may keep them better in check. But.. that is just my opinion.

you ever flown a giggle lux int? the thing cant intercept a damn thing without running out of fuel... sure it can rip... but it lacks the ability to quickly and efficiently intercept things.
personally, when im escorting a bomber i take a giggle hvy int because that thing has superior boost range (which means i can make my bomber go faster longer)

But, But, The luxury int has a cooler paintjob! Your right though, they should have the same amount of fuel.
At the moment, there are 4 main tasks to be preformed by a normal ship,
Defence (Bases/Cons/Miners)
Escort (Bombers/Cons)
Dogfighting
Miner/Con killing.
At the moment, an interceptor is the best ship for all 4, and is the most competent in 3. (Stealth Fighters can kill cons/miners better, but take more skill to use)
