On a related note, PAX is on Friday, SEP4 - Sunday, SEP6th, which is the weekend before Labor Day.
That Monday after
is, in fact, Labor Day which means people don't have work. Unless people plan to start their trips away early (or it you are planning on a long car trip [probably will be long]), Monday is an excellent day.
On another related note, even if you're not going with any Allegiance group, I know for certain that the Penny Arcade forums are planning huge caravans across all kinds of cities. You may or may not already have an account on PA forums because I know there were some Pimp Allegiance threads.

also on a related note, bumbershoot is that weekend. Its a big festival at the seattle center with lots of awesome food, weird @#(!, and small time/ local bands playing all day. In addition they have big time bands on the main stage in husky staduim, the main performances are after dark, and basically everyone goes there and smokes weed and drinks and does whatever the $#@! ever and has a great time. No news on who is playing yet, but there is always at least one day you have to go

If we can get 10 definite "yes I am going to PAX" responses, I could jump through the hoops to get a group discount.

I am straight up going, unless I die.
Pre-registration ends in September, so I suppose we do have some time...
[edit: watch as I die before PAX rolls around. I would laugh.]
