I agree, you should STFU.

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.

This thread gained so much humour value when MW started acting like a tool again. I really thought we were past this!

Also I wish they hadn't pruned the "I have been here six years..." thread. That thing should've been codified as Modern Allegiance Legendarium.

Maybe the admins need to make a press statement acknowledging Feddus' majesty, or he'll never stop.

Agreed, although not for the reasons you gave ;)

As a new player to this game I can confirm picking the winner 9/10 times at game launch is about right. The stacking that occurs in most games significantly detracts from the enjoyment.

Actually phungus, if you look at the graph many of the games are barely stacked at all. We're talking skill differences of <10 for a lot of them, but even still you can predict the outcome of games.

It is realistically impossible to get perfectly even teams, and every time there's an uneven team doesn't mean it's a stack. A stack is when it's blatantly uneven, where for every veteran you see on yellow, there's a (0) on blue. It does happen, but I find that many games in allegiance, especially when there are commanders of equal skill (Spidey versus Aarm, for instance). Especially when the commander is conscious of who he's letting on the team. Good commanders make a huge difference in the balance of the teams.

1) good commanders attract good players.
2) good commanders accept and recruit newbies from NOAT.

Well I have no where near the understanding many do of the gameplay mechanics. Thing is though, you can't look completely at the rank scores to predict the winner. However, you can reliably look for a name or two you recognize as a very skilled player, and also the number of vets on a team and predict pretty well the winner as of game launch. Stack is probably the wrong word here. However it happens quite regularly where good players join the team with other good players, and then fill the team with novices. This makes the teams look even in terms of rank, when in fact they are quite disparate in skill. This is understandable because alot of the vets know each other well or what not, I guess it's a little overboard of me to bitch about it. However it would be nice to see people anti stack more. Some good players do do this though, and I've seen some great games come from it.

Then the anti stack becomes the stack
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

So is there some kind of listing for Allegskill ratings? I feel like I'm missing something here.

Yes... and Baker will provide you with that list upon a sufficiently large donation to his PayPal charity. :D
