That depends on amount of energy an int has. Since that energy is not useful for anything else than nan (if there'd be one), you can tweak it without breaking anything.Broodwich wrote:QUOTE (Broodwich @ Sep 25 2008, 08:44 PM) That would make belter bomb rushes even more uber

You're not getting what I'm saying. I'm saying sidethrust while holding booster button. You can do that while still shooting at the enemy. You must do it all the time, right? When I was taught how to dodge missiles in this way, the teacher, a very well known whore, called it "sidethrusting" so I'm sorry if you don't understand my terms, but I figured it wasn't a stretch that sidethrust + booster button = sidethrust. It seems pretty straightforward to me.Abomination wrote:QUOTE (Abomination @ Sep 24 2008, 11:53 PM) By the way if you're boosting away from a missle (like a fig using seekers against you, the "worst missle in the game" amirite) you're not killing the thing shooting missles at you. You're running away from it. And if you're not running away from it, then you don't have enough of a range advantage. And the missle hits you. Ergo seekers will always hit you in a dogfight if properly locked, unless you CM them or make your CM hit the missle.
Ok you're scaring me. I have sidethrusted to avoid seekers in a scout successfully on many occasions, let alone a fighter sidethrusting + boost... I mean this is dogfighting 101... maybe I should just stop posting in this forum.Abomination wrote:QUOTE (Abomination @ Sep 24 2008, 11:53 PM) Also, sidethrusting while boosting away from a missle helps very little, if at all. It probably actually hinders you. In addition, the concept of a fig outboosting a missle is laughable at best, without heavy boosters.
Only scouts sometimes try to sidethrust to avoid dumbs to their rear when being chased by a fig with a proper er vector on him. And even then, it doesn't help much.

I'm cool with that, so long as it doesn't give belts an unfair advantage.CronoDroid wrote:QUOTE (CronoDroid @ Sep 25 2008, 03:54 PM) The aim is to not make Belters Ints more useful, but more fun. Things like agility, acceleration, mass reduction.
