Just so I get it straight (I've re-read your post about three times, want to make sure):

Your primary argument consists of faction "win percentages", even after having explained several times (by YP, for instance) why your method is completely non-representative and produces skewed results. Your secondary argument is that "three times the longer time" (3*3 = 9) is twice as long as for other "comeback factions". You also maintain that the additional tier's extra cost is a nerf, despite having added an economy boost that essentially nullified it.

Is the above summary correct?

That's what I wondered:
If their tech is quite good, why do they need a comeback tier?
If they have a comeback tier, why do you call it a weakness (that takes 3 times the money and research)?
Other factions have to live with the available tech, is that a boost for those factions?

I think the win percentages are somewhat lacking in accurate representation. I would rely more on what faction gets played most, that will be the most overpowered, I also hold decent regard to the bitchometric odometer.

OK guys lets all do Noir a favor and play lotsa Nix games the next few weeks. Nix win% will go up to 75% and Noir will finally wise up and nerf it. Alternatively we can do nothing and Noir will perk Nix because it is soo underpowered. May I suggest better econ to offset the higher tech cost or maybe stronger med.ass. shields? /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Maybe we should give them cheaper tech so they can get level3 tech faster /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

You might want to ask around Noir, most comms don't want their opponent to play Nix, this might be indicative of the brokenness of the faction /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Nix need more unique stuff and a better economy, and more dis resistance. And smaller hitboxes. And better vanguards. And less requirements for their laser cannons and blossoms and such.

I dunno, it's a toss up Grimm. I love playing Vs Nix, because It's easy as hell to counter them. And then when they bomb, it's easy to counter them (finally, everyone can shoot JUST the bomber.).

Yall complain about the Vans, about the econ. Well so what? The miner model is fat as hell, and the vans cost so much it aint funny. People that "rush" them are almost guarenteed to fail if they loose one miner. Once they do get them up, there are weapons to kill them with. It's time to stop whining about what they can do, and instead exploit what they can't.

I think the only true thing I really really hate about the Vans, its the laz range. I think the best change possible, would be to bring laz range down to about 800 - 750m. But hey, thats just my oppinion.

And now show me where I said that Nix is completely undefeatable? I simply asked for the reasoning behind them having an additional tier of comeback tech... and I asked Noir, not his comical-relief sidekick.

I'm also doing my best to keep the discussion civilized, unlike you. Oh well... at least I don't boot pilots that tell me I'm having a bad day as a comm just to salvage my ego.

That laser range is pretty insane, around 1000 is a bit much.
