Well since nix doesn't exist anymore, yeah, they do have dope hitboxes as it's actually impossible to hit a nix int >.>

I expect there will be a DN server kicking around before too long, and unless someone takes Nix out of DN..... then it will be quite possible to hit a nix int.

The problem is people always saying: "It is impossible to ..... vs hvy ints". That usually turns to be wrong.

It is not all about brute force (that's why you see all those exp, hvys are just a punch in the face...specially if you have some whores flying around).

In terms of weapons damage, Rix followed by IC followed by the rest.
In terms of hitbox, I don't know, but I know TF is considered by far the best with IC a second.
Loose statistics without any order.

Does IC really have that good hitboxes? Cause I don't have any problems killing IC lt ints with my rix fig.

Vortrog wrote:QUOTE (Vortrog @ May 6 2009, 07:24 PM) Meh...to satisfy the Int Lords without nerfing heavy ints, Pico by making pure exp games challenging and yet make Sup more acceptable, put heavy ints in sup (note: reg ints still in exp, but tech tree would be ADv Exp + basic sup to get access). Surely Brood will enjoy sup more, and you require Supspansion for the damn things so it takes more time to get them. HTT capping becomes more probable, and heavy Int miner killing is not as accessible.

Is there a down side? just the wait and rocks

that was easy...now to wait with my fireproof suit on....
I can't even explain how @#(!ty this idea is.

For the first time in forever, I agree with Fedman

I prefer long exp vs exp games personally, your team ends up actually having to fly competently instead of just rushing retard tech like fig bees. Which is what happens most games nowadays. I usually try and go rix on a small map to get this going, seeing as most people can see no other counter to rix than ic exp. Lowering money doesn't really help either, just means the game will go on longer until one side has enough cash for an endgame.

My fav endgame for this kind of game is just pushing a con next to the enemy techbase and launching about 10 bombers. The massive furball you get is alot more fun than doing tp2 drops or sitting about for half an hour in a sb while $#@!ing voobs suicide going the obvious route.

What people really hate is actually having to put some effort in to win the game, like say nanning miners, probing, proxing alephs. Taking a low sig scout and eyeing the enemy home, miners or forward base.

The int whores just want to sit on your miner and have miner whores rush it one at a time, the miner whores want to solo miners defended by 2 scouts who sit still and don't prox and one numpty who can't hit a tf flagship at 50m. The scout whores want to prox eyed bomb runs who fly fullspeed through alephs, or which ever voob int they can catch.

If everyone played pu games with the intention of winning the game quality wouldn't be much lower than sgs. The player pool is almost the same at primetime, they just don't give a @#(! about winning until you get a decent comm in the seat who will light a $#@!ing fire under their arse and boot anyone who starts mouthing off, flying aimless etc. This is why when you get a good comm you instantly have 10 players requesting to join the team, because they know the quality of the game is going to be much higher on this team.

Usually the people who are trying to win get pretty frustrated as the rest of the team sit back and build kbs or whatever.

Actually, those are raw statistics for HP and gunpower, and are arranged in order with faction multipliers in ICE. So unless you're saying that ICE is wrong about the values for CC_04...

QUOTE Does IC really have that good hitboxes? Cause I don't have any problems killing IC lt ints with my rix fig.[/quote]
Good doesn't mean fantastic "you can't hit this". Good means it's a good hitbox. Plus your rix fig (and this is a dirty secret they don't tell you) outdamages that IC ltint by a fair amount, and has almost twice the range.

Or are you saying that IC ints don't have a good hitbox?

If by "good" you mean average, then I agree.

And I believe Sheff is correct. After several games when you're trying to win you stop caring, and that's a fact.

That's because noobs stop caring or bother to motivate teams whereas I have no such qualms. I like commanders who only care about winning, not $#@!ing about like a cheap hooker.

I'm not sure when the winning mentality slipped out of fashion. When people started caring more about stats than winning. I only care about the percentage, like Dr_S/Nak/Grey_slayer I believe. I will paraphrase something I heard: I don't care about having fun, only about winning. Some people might enjoy winning and have fun winning but I only care about winning at any cost. I command to win, not to $#@! around.

There's no point stacking because stacks only want to whore, but I actually like $#@!ing winning.

People always say "yes" to this and that but why am I the only person who ever bothers to call you a retard who should've been castrated? I am often the lone voice telling people what to do and why they are $#@!ing up whenever I fly. This has to stop. In the past we had many people who would degrade you in-game and make noobs cry.

I think I would agree to removing the rants forum if it made the game more aggressive and hateful. Maybe that would motivate some people for a change. Everyone wants to be the bad man on the forums, it is really tiring.

Try being nice for a change and dishing it out in-game. That way you can bicker in real time, or scream at people over TS.
