Well it was a veggy faction. Veggy factions started out as massive cheese that needed to be nerfed to @#(! just to keep them on the level /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I agree that belter exp isn't that bad.

DassSmiter, please explain why TF Tac is win?? Bear in mind that tac is probably your only techpath (for the purposes of this thread anyway). You going to defend against bomb runs in your scouts? Without Prox? Have fun with that.

TF sbs, not sure I've ever flown one. I guess the upside is you don't have to mount missiles, but downside being your cloak energy is also your anti-base ammo.

tf sb weapons are pw, not ew.

tf tac was incredibly good, including against bombers, before the TF nerf.

I learned a new fact last sg: tf sbs can mount EW AB Cannon.

TF tac is win because of their owning capacity. Scouts with gen 1 should generally not have to fight a bomber in the first place (miner rush and keep on goin) but ideally you keep the enemy occupied for the 6 minutes it takes for bombers to finish and then camp the aleph with THE BEST BOMBER IN THE GAME and a few nans dropping gen against the enemy bomber while the turrets and rest of team take the $#@!er's nans out

in pu games if you just put all the scouts by the bomber, enemy turrets will assume they are all nans and just immediately target the next one that shows up on their targeting screen instead of the ones that are really nans

basically TF scouts are a delaying tactic for the bomber, and the bomber is a delaying tactic for SBs. at least in a TF tac game, generally though TF exp is the winnest because of the mining GAs and the no shot spread on ints with tiny models

Worst tech is situational also. For instance, tac against bios is almost always suicide. bios scouts are really good and Bios just sees too well.

Old tf sbs mounted dual EW AB3 with insane energy levels.

If TF tac takes so long to get going but is then awesome, why not go Exp first, get ints, and then go tac?
