Ah i remember when Rix had a crappy win/loss ratio and Noir still nerfed it.

Damn Noir, hes responsible for significantly less fun Rix Hvy scouts.

It is only a percentage... it means nothing statistically tbt. There is no mean, variance, CI, or error for example. No effort was made to insure that something else isnt skewing the results say game size, players, commanders, etc. Even the total number of games played by a faction is ignored, which means the effects of a single win or loss is different for every faction.

Worse its very easy to manipulate the numbers to drive discussion in the manner you wish...


Again I leave it to others to get the core balance right, and how you do it including throwing darts at a dartboard is up to all of you. I just saw the debate and went, "I don't have to guess I know those values are for "fun" only"

I didn't bother reading this thread past this post. But I'd like to point it out again.

Bios opening figs are one of the strongest opening ships. And considering you don't really need to protect your miners after your tech base goes in they can go on the offensive to wipe out the enemy econ forcing them on the defencive long enough..

yeah, i remember the first thing the original cc team were obsessed with was nerfing gt because their econ was "too uber" or something
