Well it's not really a drawback in the sense that it stems from a lack of fiscal management rather than an inherent flaw that Belters possesses. I know I have occasionally found their smaller paydays annoying because I had to wait to buy a bomber but it's really my fault for not watching my cash and not designating a bombing target in advance (so my team can dock and get ready).

So yeah, player fault in this case. Just because we've all faced it one time or another doesn't mean it's Belter's fault!

Is there another faction that cannot afford to buy a bomber on their payday?
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

TF (and Rix, BIOS, GT with wrong number of players)

Good point. My strongest argument was based around whether or not a faction can payday a bomber in a decent amount of time because I love to buy bombers.

Where do we find these people?

If we even think of giving a Belters cost nerf I hope we lower their research time. As it is someone could afford heavy ints before you even get figs/ints/sfs up

Wasn't belters a problem child awhile ago and that's why the 80% of cost benefit that exists on bases caltrops etc was also applied to miners? With the cheaper miners they really seem to have exploded or more likely people simply started playing them again and found all the lovely benefits that belters really provides.

Would one solution be to change the 80% value to 85%-90% to see if that slows them down a tad? Alternatively reduce the yield so they can't buy a tech base every miner load and two paydays.

8K bases and they get to keep their tech? Here's an idea so retarded it might just work: make their tech bases galvable.

that would make large games with belters unplayable cash
Heres some stats from TEK(assuming 100% accuracy):

belter adv fig with hull2 : 952.87 HP TTK with mini3 ic hvy and damage2: 2.9 seconds
GT adv fig with hull 2 ss1: 709.5 HP TTK: 2.6 seconds
ss2: 742.5 HP TTK: 2.8 s
ss3: 792 HP TTK: 3.1 s

Giga adv fig ss1: 627.82 TTK: 2.4 s
ss2: 660.82 TTK: 2.6 s
ss3: 710.32 TTK 2.9 s

As I hope you can see just because belters figs have a @#(! ton of hull its doesnt make them invincible, because its all lt hull. Besides the fact that they still manuever like tanks and accelerate like them as well. In addition they have larger hitboxes. Yes they can mount nans, which are nice, and miniguns, which are nicer still. Its a faction perk. They still get whored by hvys and they still take longer to get up than it takes to get hvy ints up, plus they dont have the legs of an int, which makes them inferior miner killers.

The reason belters win is because people dont play offensively enough against them and let them mine tons of he while trying to compete for most kills. Then they bitch about how belters are overpowered
