I think Giga Exp is just about the only techpath with no redeeming features.

Well, Giga Exp does have the advantage of ints that can rip, making tele expansion still possible. (Good against HTTS /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />)

If you think Giga sup sucks, you musn't play Giga much /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />. Anyone here who has ever flown a Lxy Scout with AC3 will know what im talking about, and 4 gatt 3s and dumb 3s with excellent gunmounts on a fast Lxy Fighter just rocks /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />.

As for worst techpath, Id say Phoenix Expansion. Phoenix just generally sucks in general, and its ints are too hard to fly with little redeeming features (Except for a cool skin) /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

I don't fly TF, and I try to avoid Dreg whenever possible.

Veggie-factions for the lose.

Dreg is probably the only faction along with Rix and BIOS that has three genuinely good techpaths (or ones where all the pros outweigh the cons)! In my experience anyhow.

Okay, maybe Exp is a little lacklustre but fast intz yo.

You don't dogfight with a belts int, you run the bugger down, play freaken chicken with them, plug him with a dumb and bulldoze his arse, stop being finese pansies. Belters isn't about finese. There isn't any frilly crap on their ships, there's no luxury seats, their DANG PIRATES treat them like pirates.

2 belt ints sitting on an aleph is a bombers worst nightmare, Mini3 and dumb2, just sick.

I cant agree more with that.

You dumbasses that cant fly belt ints for @#(! and even dare to post here should be ashamed. You have one of the most versatile interceptors there. And no, they are not only floating bricks. Have you ever checked their sidethrusters output?? Ah right, you prolly seem to be eager to always fly with full throttle and dont think about using vector lock or maybe to slow down and use only sidethrusters for maneuvering.

Belt Ints may also be easy to hit, but they still take their punishment before they go down. AND IF YOU GUYS WERENT SUCH EGOS YOU MIGHT HAVE LOADED A NAN WITH YOUR HVY AND NAN YOUR $#@!ING COMERADES!

The only thing I find redeeming is that their htt's are very rammable. Culm and I teamed up one game and I was capping from minimum speeds of 110mps. Don't remember the max speeds. There were probably 5 second lead times for the defenders to react from eye to cap. That was two years ago though and I've never had someone give me some rammin' love like that since.

That's what I love about all of the Belt ships: the sidethrust and the nan mount.

Worst tech path in the game is TF tac.

i agree tf tac (tf general) sucks.

regarding the sidethruster output: it can be noticeable with all ships exept ints (because ints already move at 1.0 all directions /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> )
Classifiable up to Trolleomorphism.
