Game is dieing. Sad truth.
We should start a bracket on month/year that the last server goes down.
Why we REALLY need playerbase growth

I promised myself I'd stop caring when people kept falling for MW's trolls STILL but clearly the fact that I'm posting this proves otherwise.TakingArms wrote:QUOTE (TakingArms @ May 12 2011, 02:07 AM) blah blah blah people have been saying that for 10 years
Which means

I've been hard-up enough lately to play a lot of games that start 4v4 or 5v5. It seems like a lot of people cruise through the server and will stick around if there's something *vaguely* reasonable going. I have seen a lot of those turn in to 10v10, and if there's a 10v10 going at the start of EST prime time, then prime time will be a lot better. So for now I'll do my part and just play as many games if I can. I've also come to the point where I can enjoy losing, and come out far less stressed than I used to. I'm also getting better at resisting comm abuse in my new hider. But if I may suggest: if you agree that having more not-completely-sucky games is good, please take it easy on us voob comms.

everyone else without inhuman aim and limited situational awareness are expected to be a probe @#(!ting scout bitch
Seriously, though, it often feels like you are expected to be in nine places at once, and if any effort you are involved in fails it is your fault alone. Don't believe it. The mere fact that you know what situational awareness is, and you care, tells me you would be a valuable contributor to my team. Do not take it personally if things don't go right.
As to aim, well, aim is helpful, but the number of times when you really need to be able to win in a dogfight is pretty low. And aim really doesn't matter that much. It's ship maneuvering that matters. Once you can plot courses without overboosting, boost a helix around a retreating con while keeping your miniguns pointed more or less at it, and rotate your ship while circling an enemy, you are half way to being a decent whore.

Things get pretty heated in game, but most people really don't mean any offence by what they say. Most of the shouting etc is just heat of the moment stuff that will pass eventually.
I won't deny that Allegiance is a stressy game, but don't take everything that's said there to heart.
That being said, don't ignore everything people say either
It's a fine line.
