Rix highlights strength and magnifies weakness. Don't play Rix with an average team because it will be worse than usual. Rix with a good team is extra good. And their strengths are more pronounced on paper than in reality. You'd think because of their lack of real nerfs they would be similarly awesome but it isn't the case because most people can't fly 'em as well as a faction like IC for example.

Rix has done some of the best steamrolls I've seen in the game, but I've also seen them lose hard even with an alright team because they failed to take advantage of Rixian Early Powah and let the enemy gather strength.

As long as the overall skill level of Allegiance remains the same, or gets worse, Rix doesn't need any sort of perk or nerf really.

I agree, Rix is awesome precisely because on paper it seems like some sort of unbalanced super-faction, with instant research and bombers that never run out of ABs and so on, but in practice they don't win all that often, and you need skill to fly them well.

IC easiest to command?.. O_o Well, I'm a pretty awful PUG commander, but since that's the demographic you're talking about, I must say I've never found that at all. The extra time constructors take to deploy, and the extra expense of everything, and the incredibly stupid miners that you have to constantly watch to make sure they don't rip somewhere stupid, all make it kinda challenging, imho... >_> Especially expanding with IC is very difficult... In my personal opinion, for the little it's worth, the Belters are the easiest to command. You get more "second chances," and bombing, the least complimacated game-ending strategy, is most effective with the tank-like Belter bombers. :P

It's easy in regards to getting an Exp, buying ops and letting the whores on your team do their thing as was the case back in the day. Even easier is buying a Tac first and then an Exp and sitting back confident that you have a strong arsenal at your disposal.

Of course if you do not have the basics mastered you'll find commanding any faction difficult, I would say IC is good in this aspect because they are strong enough to negate some of their flaws. Belters is still the easiest in my opinion, however.

Rix have nerfs with flying yes, its really easy to kill a bunch of newbies in rix ships by making them use thier crappy pitch instead of rolling, but Rix are definately not weak, even if you don't use SR's a rix team is still pretty damn powerful, a rix fig can take out a miner really quickly and with the firepower and PW range and dmg perks they are ok in furballs as well. Rix is also cheap for it's speed, you have an incredibly fast research time but your costs are pretty standard, your miners don't rake in any more money like they do for Dreg and Giga but that means you can live on paydays more often then dreg and giga can.

Commanding wise Rix isn't too hard and are pretty adaptable to any situation with the fast research time. That being said if you let Rix live to Adv Tac and SBS then it's likely that the rix team is good enough and I don't see any reason why a drop on warning is a major nerf, Rix SBS have low low sig and while other sbs's can get eyed within 2k of a base with the missiles mounted rix sbs can circle a base around 1200m and not get eyed, add in heavy cloak and all you see is the base is under attack message at the bottom of your screen instead of big huge red letters in the middle and before you know it your adv techbase is dead 1 second after the rix sbs gets eyed by being out of energy.

Adding the drop on warning will still allow rix sbs to solo bases, it just means the slow people who don't realise the base is under attack can finally react to it.

As im sure most of you know that I am a big Rixian luvva but I do think the stealth bomber issue needs to be addresed in some form. Weather that is some sort of nerf to the sb's or a new warning message is to be discussed. I for one would like to see a new warning used on them pods but ofc its a code change.
