stealth nanning is an interesting concept, but if the enemy has pulseprobes, they will be easy targets. consider upping the agility or giving them some special, low-sig sheilds. also remember to take into account the energy drain of running nans and a cloak at the same time, need a pretty good recharge rate to compensate for that.
one other thing you might think about is putting the rockets up front, and putting the nans on the turrets.

The problem with the sfs is that anything other than a miner is hard to hit, and you need twice the manpower. Also, everyone will be fighting to get on the turrets because they don't want to fly. Maybe make one weak gun on the front of the sf?

I just had this idea, probably a bad one but would be kinda cool methinks.
So these Archangelians are extremists, and many extremists have a "if you don't die in the attempt your a failure".
It would make sense if instead of saving "failure" piliots in rescue pods, the Archangelians instead wired pods with explosives.
Once an Archangelian piliot is podded, a 30 second countdown begins, as in a ripcord. Once the 30 seconds is up, the pod blows up and damages anything within 200m with the equivilant of 4-5 dumbfires. If the low hull on one of these exploding pods is destroyed (either shot at or rammed), this also triggers the explosion. Once the pod blows up, the piliot is sent back to base in the same way you are when a conventional pod is killed.
Just an idea.

not possible...code change required...and this makes KB pointless. also there not extremist, just xenophobes who have a strong sense of protection. their goal is to protect mankind from alien influence and threat. perhaps ill wright a fan fiction on the story to give a better background.
