Archangel Empire
Brain child of the enigmatic Emmet Longstreet, The Archangels were Giga Corp's bid for advanced trade and military might. Before the destruction of earth, Longstret had reports of intermittent contact with alien life on the far outskirts of known space by Giga deep space he3 scouts. Thinking only of economic power and plans to dominate the earth, he sent forth his elite fighting units and engineers to quickly establish military presence and power in the area in order to deal with the aliens from a powerful position, thinking to approach the situation as he would any business opportunity.
Needless to say this went horribly wrong. Without warning, the archangels were attacked and were forced into a defensive posture. Pleas to earth were not replied to and communication was lost to earth altogether. Soon, the Archangels salvaged what they could from the aliens and advanced as best they could. Economy was pushed to the rear as defense was paramount. Bases became hardened, and ships boasted awesome defenses.
Long hard years, the Archangels fought on alone the alien threat, but slowly the trickle of humanity came as did the stories of earth, the power struggles, and of Mercedes Kelleher and Giga corp. There was outrage at the news that Giga corp. had survived and abandoned the Archangels. The Archangel Commander, Charles Ivanova, was soon uplifted as Imperial Commander as the Archangels evolved into an empire. With distrust of any alien they viewed all other factions as contaminated by alien influence and in dire need of purging.
Returning to Earth space, they found not only new earth factions and organizations, but that of the alien influence as well. They all must be purged and humanity restored and safeguarded under Archangel might so that it may once again flourish.

* Greater PW/EW Damage/Range (1.2)
* Miners may offload at tech statations
* 2k Heavy Caltrop (+33% density/damage) replaces ac drone, also has standard Caltrop.
* Good Sensors (1.1)

* Starts with out scout
* Low speeds
* High cost for tech/bases
* no nans for ships
* no lt rip carriers (not including manned versions)

Fighter= standard
Int/Lint/hint= bit less booster fuel consumption to compensate lack of overall speed.
Stealth fig= no missiles!!! all stealth figs have 1 turret to compensate lack of missiles. enh and adv stealth figs can mount AC as pilot main wep
Stealth BMR= same as above but can mount AB
Bomber= not nanable, 3 turrets
Transport= *1 turret
Scout= purchasable under SUP tech. fires dual missiles
Gunship= 1 turret fighter-classed ship

Burst Array = probe with large scan radius, purchasable for 100 each carry able ONLY BY FIGHTERS
Guardian Angel = fig with only 2 forward mounted nans for base use only developed under Garr tech(upgraded garr)
all tech bases will be = Basic ~ advanced ~ Assault

Ass Hints (4th mini, reduced scan)
Assault Htt ( slight sig drop, increase armor plating )

Ass Fig (higher scan range, increased speed, increased armor, fired Dual missiles)

Assault Stealth fig (3 sec rip, each missile rack increased by 1 *total of 4 per rack*)
Phased Cloaking device ( lowers sig 50% but at 0 cost to energy)

Assault constructor ( armor + shield bonus)
Nano Shielding ( gives but at 40% faster recharge rate)
Shipyard=
Forward Shipyard--> Combat SHipyard-->Vanguard SHipyard -->Assault Shipyard

Awesome models and bases (though i know nothing of modelling so my response is based purely personal aesthetic principles). Only thing is i'm guessing the hitboxes would be huge unless the models got generally reduced in size, which would make the pods very small if we want any ship-pod size context.
Again, i want to make emphasis that i love the models (reminds me of stuff i used to draw when i was younger)

its not too hard to scout with cons. slower, but possible.

thinkin maby grant pulse probes, but call em "Burst Arrays" that are a wee bit stronger than PP's and cost like 300 creds each. give access to em at start. this allows scouting of a sort......i want to put alot on def and lil on offensive. turtle like a motha, but weak AB skill. and yes...no nans. if a bomb run goes thru...i want it to be done on shere might.
