TB ?accidentally? built with a newer DX9 SDK which means you'll have to run the DX9 web installer.

Hit

Yeah, this is the same EXE as the last round. I'll build another one before the next test that has the same requirements as the current Alleg install.

Unfortunately, the way it works with limited access to ASGS makes it somewhat hard to implement smoothly. You can try two things:

In the registry, change your "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Microsoft Games\\Allegiance\\1.1\\ExePath" to something other than your normal install location (like a subfolder named 'beta' in your normal folder). For now, get the latest build at http://trac.alleg.net/build (click "Windows x86"). Download the "1.1 Lite" version, which does not include artwork if you do not need it. I believe the latest builds require new artwork, though. The installer is very straightforward.

Is it really at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\1.1" on Win7 ?
And do I need anything from http://trac.alleg.net/browser/branch/FAZR6/artwork ?

Yes, and vista as well.

I don't THINK so? It's better to be safe than sorry. The installer does artwork automatically but you can tell it to use your main artwork.
