Btw guys for models I think the MS original factions should be more than enough for us to play with for now.
(I think the plan was to only have IC and Giga for the moment)

darn. somehow i managed not to see his second work at all. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
the first scout is giga for me. the second one belters. but it'd be just a small re-work to make it IC (just a bit more aerodinamic, and with slightly more elegant box behind and smaller rear fins).

uhhhm why? I think Veggy is happy moddelling Dreg (and possibly TF) and thats all we need to sperate different factions, different models. Hopefully we can make it like Alleg and have cores so other details can be worked out by core devs.
The first alpha test of the game it really wont matter what models are used could just take loads or random models just to make sure the engine runs.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only kick stands!
Seriously, make them trikes, at very least. The second one is slightly better, but the first one looks like it'd tip over going around a corner - and it's supposed to be getting used in a plantery war?!

We're starting with two factions, balancing them, adding another, balancing it, adding a fourth, balancing it, etc.
This approach, I think, will make it easier.
QUOTE The first alpha test of the game it really wont matter what models are used could just take loads or random models just to make sure the engine runs.[/quote]This is true; however, we do need to have all the models for two factions, so that once we begin the lets-get-everything-balanced stage, we have the right models.
If Vegeta is doing Dregkhlar, then I guess we could do Dregkhlar and something else. Only reason I suggested we start with IC and Giga is that they're both human; less likely to have odd techs and unique vehicles (harder to balance)

AAaaalmost; I'm about to embark on a tutorial to make a simple game; I'm just using it to figure out how to structure everything so it's networkable (I've never done anything networked before). Then I'll get Torque and get a-started.
