I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

in the way of the ancient Greeks?
"From my mother's sleep I fell into the State,
And I hunched in its belly till my wet fur froze.
Six miles from earth, loosed from the dream of life,
I woke to black flak and the nightmare fighters.
When I died they washed me out of the turret with a hose."

I think I have to agree. Newb boot protection mostly protects the warcraft roxors who stop donating at the drop of a hat. I would boot them the second they stopped donating so they learned their lesson quickly, but the stupid boot protection stops them from learning this is unacceptable behaviour.

Give me a free hand to boot and I'd comm more.

I love commanding, I even like commanding against the stack. When after a good 15 minutes of asking people nicely to nan the bomber against that forward Tac (which after 15 minutes is now an adv. Tac) your whole team bombs it after being eyed because noone cleared probes and them all dying on the aleph to prox. You get counter bombed and lose. But it is still satisfying because you maneged to get 75% on your team to listen to you.

In all seriousness though, I really enjoy commanding, and if I had more time I would do it more often

Commanding is quite fun so long as you don't have eveyone trying to be mini commanders making you have to do the important stuff (And in my case, failing miserably at it most of the time). I fully intend on going through ACS after I'm done with @cadet and the three month period.

Oh no, it's a love fest!!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch -- perhaps some of the old hands should agree to 'pull a voob out of the hat' and get a couple of voob non-comms to command a game (with some back seat advice??)

Seperately, perhaps getting a 'voob comms' game of the week going would be helpful (and fun). Maybe get IB to do a humorous dissection of the voob comm games on the boards?

There are plenty of ways to get folks a taste of commanding. Combined with ACS -- could be alot of new comms.

/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> I have commed a few games and have beaten a very experianced comm. In one game, I made a mistake and got crucified. After that I quit trying to comm. My reading comprehention is rotten, I learn by doing. Being comm is stressful enough without all the bitching. When you have everyone yelling at you it is impossable. Ppl are very hard on new comms, newbs or vets. So I feel why put myself in a position to be rideculed. I have also commed games where the good comms have helped me a lot. It's hard in a geme where ppl figure winning is everything and loosing is a reason to hang yourself. I think ppl have brought this problem on themselves.

My 2 cents, Bull
Everytime I get the answer figured out, someone goes and changes the question.
