You should make a poster yourselves then! Sitting there criticising it isn't going to change anything, these as you can see were clearly made years ago.
Besides it's by far the best we have at the moment, if you want to shoot it down fine, just don't then go off whining about how Allegiance is dead.

The poster was meant to look retro and was purposely made black and white. I wasn't the author of it and I can't remember who did it but it was done about a year or so ago. So the retro theme worked huh

Your powers are weak old man.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the game is old. At some point you might want to consider just letting it go. For an underfunded, poorly marketed research project, 11 years is quite the run. Just be happy with that and move on with your lives.

If you are wanting some good stuff to promote alleg, the marketing team has had news.freeallegiance.org for a while now setup just for that.
Wallpaper?
http://news.freeallegiance.org/multimedia/wallpaper/
Flyers (already posted):

Also, before you start complaining, no the site isn't maintained much any more. It's mainly meant to pull info from here and push it out through a different venue in hopes we catch a few more fish since news.fao is all SEO and stuff.
Edit: oh yea, the posters were done in late 2009 (posted to news.fao in January 2010), just for info.

Younger generations must have the opportunity to experience a kind of game that won't be made again, because it isn't dumb enough to be commercial. It's a moral duty to continue it!

Great idea to promote alleg
We are getting dangerously close to the 20/20 (*) scenario.
(*) 20/20 -> 20 or fewer players during 20 or more hours a day.

Maybe we can get development back up and running and salvage this broken game?
Maybe we can replace the completely worthless "admin" with one that doesn't bury its head in the sand.
Maybe we can promote this to the public in a way that will attract new players so we can then chase them off when they log in.
Maybe we can BEAT A DEAD HORSE and make it run again.
Wake the fukc up, it's over.
