DS, I played exclusively on the main server when I was new. Sure I got yelled at a lot for being useless (and I learned from it), but not once was I ever booted for being new. Of course I stayed away from a lot of mission-critical roles such as bomber pilot or tp2 dropper. I think you'll find a lot of comms are happy to take on inexperienced players as long as both teams have equal amounts of new players. In fact, a commander is almost obliged to take new players such as yourself when the matchup become too imbalanced in his favor. Until you get good, you should always join the stronger team.

Honestly, rank doesn't matter once you get out of the initial inexperience phase. You can easily find players of equal skill which are separated by 5 ranks or more.

There seems to be absolutely no meantion of commander skill. Yes, I can now be confidently ranked!

P.S. If there is a mention of commander skill. I most definately need to get a better ranking than spidey since my only win is against spidercles.
