I hate to add to this thread. However, Darkpriest667, the only thing rotten in this community is your tone. You come in here, insult us (as a community), whine about not getting help, whine about teamspeak, whine about @CDT, etc. As far as your credentials as a gammer, or admin, or clan leader in other communities - save it. Nobody here cares. You have shown a lack of respect to this community, and should apologize. I haven't met a person in this community I do not like. You are the first.

Why don't you stop flaming him and address the issue at hand. This topic isn't about whether or not someone is able to punctuate and format posts correctly, and while it might help, it is certainly good enough to get his point across.

What do you expect when someone asks for help and gets $&!% thrown back in their face for it? I think he is treating you guys as he was treated in the game; if you expect him to be respectful, you should treat him with respect instead of flaming him and discrediting him.

If you do not want to talk about the problem, don't waste your time by posting; flaming doesn't help anything. I do not expect the community to change, but I do expect everyone to be treated as equals.

Now, that being said, I would like to thank the people in this thread who have offered to help DarkPreist667 out, the internet needs more of you.

We are not equal. We vets kept this game alive for 7 years, we worked for it, we paid for it, we did it. Accept that, respect that and play the frikken game. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

It's called "paying your dues". Apparently, the lack of understanding of such things I surmise is a byproduct of modern culture's tendency to reward mediocrity. Just because I have an opinion it doesn't mean that I'm qualified to be a World Leader.

No. His behavior manages that.

I got a 4.0 in Grammer and Writing.. i wrote good for 20 years... Kiss my behind LOL..
*snip*
Yeah, I guess anyone can have a 4.0 in 'Grammer'. Now go and try to take a calss in 'Spelling'.

QUOTE On the Academy side... I do not believe i can enter the cadet program as I am a Novice 7... I would still like to participate.. but my job and my other responsibilities make it hard for me to find time to commit to sessions... Mondays and Tuesdays are best... But id be interested in being contacted by one of the Cadet trainers... My msn is Darkpriest667@hotmail.com.. this is generally the best way to contact me..
1. Academy is not Cadet.
2. You can enter Cadet if your rank is between 0 and 30.
3. Cadet consists of tons of reading, trying stuff out in game, reading again, rinsing and repeating. Weekl Cadet games are not mandatory.
4. You call us, we don't call you.

QUOTE On a side note I thought id add.. I dont play during peak hours (5-8pm EST) I usually play in the dead of night when most gamers might not be from the US and thus there could be a language barrier.. but it seemed that some of them spoke perfectly fine english....
At least intermediate English is required for this game. All regular players (yes, we foreigners too) speak and write pretty good English.
QUOTE There, now all of you with the whining issues can get over my lack of will to create paragraphs... I even Indented them :-p
Less whining, more paragraphs.

As for your previous whining about how this community sucks and is hostile towards newbies:

I feel sorta offended, and I think some of other guys who run this place and contribute to the community much more than I do might say the same thing. Thousands of hours were spent on developement efforts, creating tutorials (Academy), core developement, newbie training (Cadet program takes a LOT of effort on daily basis from around twenty people). So please, stop spouting nonesense about things you have little idea about.

As for your gaming 1337ness and internetz ueberity:

We don't care how much you own at other games, how high is your rep in other gaming communities or how many top-notch boxes you have in your basement. We know that you are new here. We know you will suck and be completely clueless for a while. That's OK, as long as you learn. We provide the resources needed for you to get better free of charge. The only thing we require from you is that you acknoweledge that you suck and are clueless in the beginning and make an effort to change that. Your attitude is not helping, calling ImmortalZ and Paradigm 'noobs' will get you ridiculed. Those guys are one of the best players here, they know what they are doing WAY better than you will in a year. STFU and play the goddamn game n00blet, I hope to see your name on next Cadet batch list.
