Those were quite some interesting SL and players in general.

Ive been around a number of successful SL in the squads I was a part of

Mufatu
Deng by proxy (sorry Fell)
Raveen
MadAcc

no offense to the others who had the title when I was a member, or were there after or before my time, or Sled for a squad I was not a member of

Each of them had a very different style from fill out the line up card with the same names everyday to exshautive lists of ideas to try.

Raveen can hold his own with the best of them when defending his squad's position, had the intestinal fortitude to push out those that didn't fit, but with enough charm to do it in a way that no one walked away to damaged by the experience

Deng leadership abilities via pitchfork and fire, a calcualtor for a brain, wiierdly charming side, and riuthless ability to compartmentalize @#(! helped build the base that *points upward* made happen

MadAcc quiet benevolent neoglect and the unmistakable touch of old Curly Tops (McWarren) scarey as $#@! charm was a great team effort and BlackVipers animal magnetism made ACE what it was

Mufatu, who I hold all others up to and none match, is probably more my golden age of addiction to the game but he still by pure force of personality made a top notch squad out of nothing. Like Spidey but not done in the dimensioned days that made it easy for him or if Brood ever did it and gave a $#@!

My point, thank goodness there is one, was stick any of them in a different squad or a different time and they could very well phail miserabely

So stop trying to pull on your suspenders, spit, and pontificate because the last succesful squad was...

Ni and all that will start ;)

My name is lexaal and I am Serb's personal goat breeder

The fourth squad leader has emerged, he is TheAlaskan.

Dome - Drizzo - Thallium - TheAlaskan

Each of us is in the midst of or have finished getting the commitments from four players of our choosing to become the core of our squad. After that is complete I will make an official post both ending old squads and opening up enrollment for new squads.

An email blast to all forum users will go out letting people know a squad reboot has taken place and inviting them to get back into the game and encouraging them to join a squad. Will also slant future marketing to emphasize the rebuilding nature of Allegiance. And much more.

Prepare yourselves.

I propose that the squad games be reduced to 5 players a side to qualify..until it picks up.

Ironically, when Dome made the post, that was the first thing I said before it got mod deleted.
