missile size is fine, there's a problem with the netcode where a missile still hits even though you've shot it to no health.
I've shot at stealth missiles from a bomber turret, saw the bullets sparking on the surface, hit 5-8 times, health was shown as 0 on the 2nd to 3rd hit, but the missile still hit us and did damage.

I kinda agree, but instead of giving them health, I believe they should assplode at the first hit. There isn't a bug in the netcode. You are seeing the effect of not hitting the missile on the server side. If the server doesn't think you are hitting on the server, it will not send the message that the missile has been destroyed, but the health will go down as the client thinks you are hitting it.
So yeah, bigger size and lower HP will help.
