Drizzo, stop whining about OH acceleration and comparing them with Belters or Giga...

Drizzo isn't whining about the accel, he's whining about the fact that despite all the stat perks, OH ints are so goddamn big and slow that they aren't really better than average. And since OH Sup and OH Tac both kind of suck, OH is one of the least-used factions - I don't think I've seen a single OH game since I started flying again.

They can get heavy ints at 13 minutes. Think of how fair that is. That's right, not fair at all.

The biggest problem with omicron is that they are boring.
They went from the turret faction in the design concept to a flavourless mish-mash of existing factions that have no specific points of interest or challenge to make them enjoyable to fly or command.

And those 13min heavy ints are more limited by con build/research time than by money. It's not unusual to have the adv exp money mined before the exp con plants.
I've seen OH HTTs at 18mins; and once even dual tech hvy ints + stealth bombers at 27mins!
But then again, a crazy econ is pretty much the only advantage OH has. Their exp is fine (average, not over-powered like Drizzo would like it to be); their sup sucks; their tac sucks (except SBs).
If the enemy is IC/Dreg and not totally incompetent, OH miners will die before their techbase is up. OH isn't the only faction with that problem - but if their speedy econ is destroyed, they don't have any other advantages left.
