Surao has posted another message which is being displayed alongside the "Connectivity Failure" message he has already reported.

"Error creating the web proxy specified in the system.net/defaultProxy configuration section."

I have never seen this error before, but it appears you may have a proxy configured on your computer which may be interfering with ASGS's ability to talk to our server.

ASGS uses the same proxy configuration as Internet Explorer uses. It's likely you have a proxy configured that is blocking things.

Can you disable this proxy? This may lift the block between you and our server.

Go to internet explorer:

Tools
Internet options
Connectivity
LAN Settings
See if the box for "Use a proxy server" is checked, and if so try unchecking it.

Yes it is - it is on the fifth line of my post.

Take a deep breath right now - in and out - and please acknowledge this one fact:
YOU HAVE NOT READ MY POSTS.

you just proved that.

Your problem will not be solved by itself - you must READ the help I'm trying to give you.

Now that you know for a fact that you have NOT read my posts, it is time to actually READ them so you can solve your problem.

For YOUR convenience, I have pasted my original post for a THIRD time here in this same post. You don't even need to scroll up!

Please read it - particularly the 5th line which deals with the "How do I fix 'Connectivity Failure'" article.

There's a big bolded sticky right at the top of this forum that answers common questions.

In that sticky, it tells you to visit the Technical Support Section of the wiki for tips on solving common problems. Have you read that?

In that article, there is a section on Problems with Connectivity. Have you read this section?

It suggests some things you can try to solve your problem, such as this article on how to fix "Connectivity Failure" messages. Have you read that?

Please re-read this post - I know you're already at the end of it. Re-read it and take it one step at a time.

Your router's ports have nothing to do with your problem.
Routers, etc are not mentioned ANYWHERE in the "How do I fix 'Connectivity Failure'" article.

I'm sorry you could not solve your problem. :salute:
It's a shame someone wasn't available to point you in the right direction :(

Thanks for your patience,
