SF outnumbered ACE, obviously Striker is losing control of his squad.

Well it was a nice game, yellow had the map for a long time but we managed to run multiple miner rushes at the same time and it payed out well... Too bad it ended when we got frigs out.

From reading the log, you'd think not wanting to risk snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory is a capital offense in ACE's eyes. Some comms just like to play it safe and not go for all-or-nothing endgame attempts... big deal.

RT: The number of typical responses decreases exponentially as the number of joke options increases.

I never played a SG that ended with a resign. Heck I never saw freighters in a SG. It was - erm... how to say - an unusual game. Glad it's over.

Sad to hear it ended in a resign. The alternative, however, was people leaving the game, which would also have forced the opponent to sit out people... that is nonideal too.

RT lost second place in the tourney due to a slow endgame, pity this time we didn't try overturning the game. I guess that at the point of frigs, however, the game was pretty much sealed. Sounds like jbourne wanted to beat the opponent by exhaustion and got exactly what he wanted. ;)

You'd think that RT would be afraid of it happening again... ;)

We took so long, because we think VERY HIGHLY of both of the squads. SF aleph camps are extremely useful and we thought that bombing or htting or f/bing against 25 very competent players in 1 sector will surely fail.

So we bought some OP's and Tele's (for quicker mining), enh and adv cons and an SY. Hell, I even thought that pushing a con will not work and suggested a multiple con push.

All in all it was a very good game (SF/ACE opening was a lot better then ours), and I'm sorry that our respect for you got interpreted otherwise.

Hey, last week SysX/GB mined next to ACE/SFs OP... :o

I am flattened you thought we, with a whopping basic camped exp, could still hold out vs a team with fully upped exp and sup driven by superior if not equally competent players. :)
