That is an, um, interesting response to Gandalf telling you that you played wellVortrog wrote:QUOTE (Vortrog @ Mar 22 2009, 04:38 PM) We bow to your awesomeness for being able to hold us out for over 2 hours with one eye covered and having 1 hand tied behind your back. We should have resigned at the beginning as it never could have been a contest.
SRM vs. RT

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

- try getting up at 4.55am to play a squadgame on a Monday morning prior to rushing kids to school and heading to work.
- Have a server crash partway into the game......
- then bust your ass for almost 3 hours in a magnificent contest where BOTH sides played well or else it wouldnt have gone 2hrs 43mins...
- have to leave the game because kids have to get a lift to School before the match ends...
- then have someone imply that the opposing side was not playing well and "somehow" they got a win.
I thank Gandalf for the compliments, but I am grumpy from the combined impacts of the above and disagree with his assessment of RT. Apart from maybe not gangbanging us enough in force, they did a magic job of countering us at every turn and despite having balls to the wall at once stage after they lost their first garr, made us pay. Teams that "dont play well" cant manage that. Bravo

Going IC on a map that large is kinda shooting yourself in the foot.

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.

It was an extremely close game, well fought by both teams.
It felt like we were fighting a loosing battle, SRM had the players were it counted and seemed like we were always defending something... Well done RT on sticking with it.
Sorry I crashed after we captured their Gar. I was running late for work and had to go anyway.
Very tense game, if it wasn't for Grav's calm organised way, I would probably have curled up into a little ball and cried

It's obvious you missed the 2nd half of the game; Grav was shouting all over by thenAaron Moore wrote:QUOTE (Aaron Moore @ Mar 23 2009, 02:30 AM) Very tense game, if it wasn't for Grav's calm organised way, I would probably have curled up into a little ball and cried
Anyways, excellent game SRM. It was nervewrecking at times, but I enjoyed it very much.
