americano (SRM / IC / AdvSup / Tac / Starbase) vs grav (RT / Bios / AdvSup / AdvExp / Tac / Starbase)
map: Nova, settings: 1.0 / 1.0 / normal

RT won.

Both squads do a regualar opening and go Sup. Srm gets a HomeTac for miner o. Some miners on both sides die. RT gets a forward Exp vs galvs. Both get tp2 figbbrs at abot the same time.

SRM tries an alephdrop on the Sup and fails. RT does a drop on the Sup, but splitting forces made it a pathetic attempt and they also fail. SRM does it classical, drops in the sector with all team in figbbrs and suceeds.

RT gets hvy ints and htt. SRM kills RT's Garrison. RT captures SRM's Garrison. While SRM figbombs the Garrison from their hometele (succeed by 1 missile), parci and his unnanned ninja-htt captures the Tac with a sliver of hull left. I hope my ram helped :) .

Both squads get a new Garrison. The squadrons changed the sides of the map over the game. SRM tp 2 the Tac and shortly after the brandnew Sup of RT and walk to the Garr, which also dies. RT uses the opportunity to intbomb the Sup and capture the enemy Garrison at the same time.

Over all a tough fight. Thanks for the thrilling game, SRM.

Thanks for the great game RT, it was hard fought on both sides. Looking forward to the rematch!

P.S. Lingus, the link to the points image goes to the picture of the map, not the scores.

What an inadequate description - there was just so much that happened!

RT as a whole did not play well (exceptions such as the omnipresent Idanmel apply), SRM did play well, but somehow we got the win anyway. Game took so long, I think I started having hallucinations... still, at least the start time was an hour earlier thank normal for us Europeans, so it wasn't quite so late when we finished :)

Also, the server died 10 minutes into the first game so we had to start again. We picked up so much tech that first game! :(

Thanks for the feedback. I replaced the link and added, that SRM also killed the Tac.

It was a 4K run from the Gar to their TAC. As soon as the SRM figs were in firing range of my HTT I cloaked. I lost eye with just a sliver of hull left. I guess they thought I was dead or were completely disoriented as soon as they past boost me and failed to turn and finish the kill. I was still something less than 1K from the TAC when my energy run out and I got eyed again. Fortunately l1ngus and his excellent ramming skills did the trick and my shields had regened just enough to live it through. Epic.

We bow to your awesomeness for being able to hold us out for over 2 hours with one eye covered and having 1 hand tied behind your back. We should have resigned at the beginning as it never could have been a contest.

Don't look for offense where there is none.

Long, and quite exhausting battle. Lag made the game not very enjoyable for me in the first hour or so, then it magically got better. Thanks for the very close and exciting game SRM, you really put up the fight.
