The "better" guns are the only thing that balance the longer research time.
Drop their prices! Just imagine it would be an Exp-perk, maybe this eases your decision (I heard rumours that if we drop the TF Sup prices to normal priced ones we could expect dropped mini-gun prices later too! Yeah, true! So vote Yes!)
