Disruptor 3
So... Interceptors - The connotation in the name means very fast ship designed to get to a point quickly.
Fighter - connotation in the name would be he is a scrapper in the game.
Supremecy , when taken in context with Expansion and Tactical would imply it rules the roost. There fore by extension a Adv Fighter would the ultimate ship.
In short I have never understood why a Fighter would not be able to kick the snot out of an interceptor. I would expect the interceptor to be much faster then it is with a much lighter hull. But super fast and moderate damage. To me a fighter should have double the range of an interceptor on guns and nastier dmage rate for its guns. It should not be anywhere near as fast as an interceptor. The interceptor should be able to make damaging passes at the fighter and be able to use its speed. To get in range... do some damage and speed away.
The Name "Interceptor" implies speed.. The name Fighter implies "kick your ass" . Yet in truth its just the opposite..
Now being an Alleg Vet ...
It will be nice to see Expansion rule space once again. I may not understand the developers choice of words.. But I like my heavy int.

If Dumbfires were actually dumb and didnt try to track and fired off fast that would allow people that aim well to cause ints more grief. But truth is they are easily missed. Not because a pilots aim sucked but because they launch ad move so slow.
But for some reason they try and track.. Again ...another alligiance misnomer... Dumbfire implies straight flying no tracking missle. But if you ever chase a miner and you watch them missles they will curve... NO how the hell is that a dumb missle ?

"Sunt superis sua iura -ovidI kinda notice how all of you love the expansion, I like it too, and you like the idea interceptors will rule the space again and stuff, and sure, it's all good when you're on the expansion side, but not everytime will be on that side, that's why I think it should be more balanced, so when you are on the sup side you get a chance too, well that's what I think.
I believe the expansion will be the most played from now on, for obvious reasons.

I kind of like the way it is now, but I don't think ints should have so many goddamned hp. It's ridiculous. They are made for intercepting stuff. They should be fast, small, damage dealing ships. Fighters should be well-rounded fighting ships(which they are, they have a few weapon options and can ripcord, in addition to being semi fast, good hp, decent scan, etc).
I just don't like the fact that there is no weapon that is made for killing ints. You say dis and quickfires, but that's retarded. Gat3 does more than dis3 (although I'd prefer dis3 now that it's not retarded). Quickfires are not practical at all. I would not complain about it if there was a weapon made specifically to combat ints (in such a way that quickfire combats sf). I've always liked sup myself. Please keep new ideas flowing so I can brainstorm more Mawg Core stuff.

yeah sure. Just copy that file to a safe place, and once it is replaced by Noir, go and resave it using mdlc to the appropriate name and location.

Seriously no point to use dis 3 now for hvy int killing with Gatt particle change and ability to aim. (unless you want to carry more expendables I suppose)
