Aside from nanning and probing, after you have done those, start helping the team to kill miners. After you have probed the sectors next to your bases, ask the commander where the enemy miners are. If he/she is smart, they'll tell you and then you fly there with a scout so the rest of the team can see them and starting attacking them.
Just by being in the sector with a scout, you'll aid the miner whores and the team greatly.
That's basically all you need to get far in this game, the ability to probe, nan and kill miners.
(Well, not entirely, but there's plenty of whores, turret whores, bomber/HTT whores, etc to cover for you /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> ).

With skill comes the desire for recognition, and then the desire more skill.
Nans are happy people. They fly around, give out repairs, and overall have a lot of fun. Why are we killing them when we can learn from their example?
