...hehe, I'm terminally messy, I'd prefer to get up late, I don't like planning, I use gut instincts instead of research and statistics... and imagine me in the corporate world. Which is why I voluntarily left a really high paying pharmaceutical job and now work with the very same people as a consultant (in case you're wondering, I make WAY less money, but I work WAY fewer hours and am WAY more happy).

My poor wife still has to put up with me though (she's the EXACT opposite) at least until the divorce goes through.

Well, we're not actually getting divorced, but every morning I wake up expecting to find an empty house with a note and a package on the kitchen table.

Mind you, I did NOT say I was HOPING to see any of that, I deliberately said expecting which is different from hoping which is what I wasn't even THINKING when I wrote that, I would NEVER HOPE for such a thing, and if I were HOPING I certainly wouldn't write it on a board she could easily access, but that's besides the point because I didn't use THAT word anyway in the first place and in the second I wouldn't use it unless I were really HOPEFUL that it would happen, and I'm not hoping that at all, just expecting it which is altogether different from hoping as if I just couldn't WAIT for that, I mean that's hoping, but I'm not HOPING, I'm just expecting it which is different, right guys? You heard what I said originally and you'll back me on this, right?!?!?!?

Here we go:

Dell E1705 laptop, Targus mouse, MS Precision Pro (2, sadly). MS Force Feedback wheel. Visible is a speaker from my shelf system when I get tired of my 1" laptop speakers. I should move the other four to make a surround sound setup for my laptop, but my desk is a little small.

No-one can claim this is cleaned up. It looks like this now, plus a couple books, my Tungsten, and a bunch of mail to go through.

Funny thing about all this is that there is not a single setup here (excepting the Commodore 64) that isn't overkill . . .

heh... yes, the dell inspiron9300/e1705 is my machine of choice as well. I would post a pic of my setup, but it involves, said machine, a couch, and a bunch of junk around the couch... maybe ill get rid of my old dell sitting on a computer desk 10 feet away from the couch, and use that /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

No. Of course not. I'd be interested to hear some observations.

I only know that Jess is a member of Rolling Thunder and he is most likely male since someone in our forums remarked how we didnt have any female RTs anymore.

Jess is: A male, who mostly grew up in a small town in the US who is older then most students probably early 30s. He is currently enrolled in college which may be University of North Dakota (mostly likely), Providence College (kind of likely), or (unlikely) Dartmoth where he is currently pursuing a degree in hard science curriculm (most likely engineering but migt be computer science). He has a room mate, a significant other but not a live in. He has a religious bent, and just might be a bit driven. He lives in campus housing.

If he does go to U-ND he may live here perhaps: ) .

Why the heck did MrChaos say those things?:

A. You've got a TI calculator that appears to be just like mine.
B. A kermit like stuffed animal is poking out of your speaker.
C. Amongst the various pens one has a red white and blue pattern
D. Your checking account book is on the table
E. The posters on the wall are inspirational and one discusses God and satan
F. Your laptop is a recent Dell and it's a wide screen
G. it's hard to tell but it looks as if the you use a form of base board heating
H. I think thats a back pack to the left but it could be an overnight bag (important)
I. Obviously the gamer supreme steering wheel and joystick
J. The plastic bag with owners manuals in it
K. Possible composition books in the same pocket of desk
L. A black and white football on top of speakers
M. Blue cord that appears to be a network cord
N. It a might dusty and the walls appear to be painited flat white
0. Your forum name has 74 in it

How did I do? I had no help or used any but the picture ( The exception is for to the male guess noted above )

Male, yes.(+1) Sorry, I grew up in a small town(+1/2) in Papua New Guinea(0) where my parents were missionaries. I'm the same age as most students,(0) 18 and an entering freshman(0). Hmm. I don't know where you're getting these colleges from, but I'm afraid I'm attending Millersville University(0). I'm a bio major(1/2) and live at home(0), am single,(0) and do have a definite religious bent.(1) I might consider myself driven. (1/2)

Hmm. Let's see. That gives you 3.5/11

Nice guess on the 74, but it just happens to be a number I like. Yes, that's a TI-83. The pen is a free one from my travel company. Yes, that's baseboard heating; water, not electrical. The "MU" on the desk stands for Millersville University; it's a web address I picked up at their orientation. That's a backpack; I don't use it when school's not in session. Nice guess on the plastic bag. Those are actually music books for my tenor recorder. Yes, that's a network cord. Black and white football is a hackeysack, though it's almost impossible to play with due to its irregular shape. Yes, it's dusty back there, you wouldn't see it 'cept for the flash.

The walls are not in fact flat white, but a slightly cream color, washed out by the flash.

Your turn, Chaos. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
