Here is most likey the issue. Some of the files that have been contributed are "centerinbmp.mdl" and some are "centeroutbmp.mdl". If you used one, let's say "centerinbmp.mdl" and you wanted to try another but it is the "centeroutbmp.mdl" file, it will most likely not work for you.
What I suggest is to DL and install the default reticules first, then try to reinstall the one you wanted. The default reticule link on my site restores BOTH files to the originals.
Click here for the default files (Save it to your Desktop and install it)
Then select and install the reticule of your choice here:

so i tried as you suggested = no luck.. (original files then use a single file (thin cross = centerinbmp.mdl)
but i tried TEH BOX.. which i like ok, has dual files (in and out) = works ok
teh box is ok but i really like thin cross better.... if you have any suggestions... or how i could mod in = out plz let me know..
thx for the help

Not sure that I follow you on this. "original files then use a single file"? The default file on my site is an exe file and contains both 'centerin' and 'centerout' files. Try the link again for the default files HERE. Also, keep in mind that if you install two completely different centerin and centerout files, Centerout over rides the centerin file while you are ingame. I use my number2 file in the new style area and I just looked at my centerin file and it is still the tiny cross, though I never see tiny cross ingame.Seismetr0n wrote:QUOTE (Seismetr0n @ Apr 3 2007, 09:32 AM) so i tried as you suggested = no luck.. Something strange has been going on with the server. From my point of view (FTP) it shows that I no longer have ANY of the MDL files for the 'old style' reticules page. They are all gone. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> I'ma pull that page down today till I can correct it, as RL is very busy right now. I should pull down the new style too. Not all the reticules on that page come with both files either. I'll have to make an all black file to go with the ones that don't have the opposing file.
If you want to edit your own:convert "centerinbmp.mdl" and "centeroutbmp.mdl" to a BMP using MDLFXEdit the BMP's to your liking keeping both files identical (using the color green for centerin and the color white for centerout, respectively)Convert your new version to MDL using mdlcMasterBat Confused about previous step? Email them to me and I'll convert them for you. mesial@mesialonline.comSeismetr0n wrote:QUOTE (Seismetr0n @ Apr 3 2007, 09:32 AM) ....if you have any suggestions... or how i could mod in = out plz let me know..
