If there is a router between your computer and your internet connection, you must change the router's settings to allow you to play Allegiance.

If you cannot change settings on the router (because someone isn't letting you, or because you don't own the router) then you will be unable to play Allegiance.

Contact whoever owns your router to open the ports for you.

Sorry,

I have a router, and the firewall deal, and after some tinkering it can be done. I use DXPort to allow the ports to be open, and it allows for connections of other computers to the program simultaneously. Hopefully that works for you.

But usually there is a way to adjust the router settings through the internet or something, but contact whoever owns the router to find out how.
