month/day/year is not logical in german, thus we dont use it. We also use the metric system in our communist homeland. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
In the imperialistic US, you of course use the imperial system and you use the illogical month/day/year, probably because your language is that way. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Yes, I like the metric system and logic.
Our communist german language has a huge problem though, that our socialist brethren in the UK solved some time ago. We still say "six-and-fifty", instead of "fifty-six". It is highly annoying and should be changed. I hope our communist party forces us to use the new way any time soon.

It's about as relevant. Yet another useless topic for us to debate about right up there with navel lint.Tigereye wrote:QUOTE (Tigereye @ Jul 25 2006, 11:15 AM) Nice job on the derailment /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

For the record though, AFAIK SandTiger was never removed from the roster since I added him oh so many months ago.

The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.

...IT'S SPELLING, DAMNIT, IT'S SPELLING!!! It would be semantics if he had said navel lint is disgusting and I were to have responded, I suppose the truth of that depends on whether you are the picker or the pickee.
