Hello,

I have a quick question about the aiming reticule and the lead indicator. Are they based only on the velocity of the target ship, or do they take acceleration into account as well? In other words, if as ship is accelerating, do I need to aim further ahead than the green reticule tells me?

Based on what I've seen, I'm guessing that the reticule is only based on velocity, but I'd like to be sure. Thanks!

You're correct, they're based on velocity only. So if you use you thrusters to keep accelerating then people who depend on the lead indicator won't hit you.

just watch where your bullets are landing.

i use "the man" reticule, it means i watch my bullets, not my reticule

Also, reticule is based on gunmount 1, so you really have to watch your bullets to see if your other two are hitting.

Since using "The man", my whorage rate has skyrocketed.

Screw the lead indicator, just watch your bullets.

New Zealand's icecream is some of the best in the world. Isn't that worth fighting for? Isn't that worth being podded for?

you can change it to gun 2,3 or 4 by pressing 2 twice, or 3 or 4

Excellent. Thanks for the responses!

Next question: any recommendations on a replacement reticule (mod) that was smaller? I would appreciate it if my view of space was a bit less blocked. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
