SysX vs GB

So, just to make sure, GB understands that any 'flaming' in this thread that may have hurt them is a mistake? It hurt to see you thought lag was our best ally but you have already clarified your opinion on that and I, at least, appreciate that. I still think it was a GG and had a blast.

...I never 'ignore' people. I'd miss too much. And for the record, it was a GG, win or lose, with GB. For many years, I've held GB in the highest esteem because of the code of honor they enforce with their pilots both privately and pubically. I've seen any number of times in the past where you, Grimm, have told your people on the boards to tone it down, or outright stfu. And I respect that 'cause that's all I really care about in this game. It's the smack talk that I hate, don't know why, I just hate it. GG means a lot of things. It means GG. It means, GDIT I F'IN HATE TO LOSE TO YOU F'ERS! It means WE F'IN OWNED! It means WTF WERE WE DOING THAT GAME, DID WE ALL SWALLOW THE SUCK PILL? HOW COULD WE HAVE LOST? It means WE ARE THE GODS OF THE ALLEGIANCE UNIVERSE!

But more than anything it means, GG, it was a pleasure to play a game with ya'll, win or lose. GB's pretty much typifies that (and SRM) in my opinion. And so, much like flying with Spidey, winning or losing doesn't matter so much as the fun in the game and the ability to lose or win with grace and respect for the other team (did I mention I always hate these game summary threads?) /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Spidey misinterpreted Grimm's post which I assume only meant to say that lag prevented us from adequately being able to stop the SYSX bomber and thus caused the game to end prematurely. SYSX still could have won the game at a later time but GB was very upset that lag made it harder than usual to hit the enemy and thus ended the game too early. Noone likes premature ejaculations, although some of the posters in this thread probably owe their existence to them /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

SYSX played both games very well and Grimm's comment in no way seeks to diminish the accomplishment of SYSX.

All GB public broadcasts will in future be censored by the Information-Dissemination Drone to prevent further incidents and escalations /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

A couple of things

#1 - Thanks for posting the TS convo strike ; )
#2 - SysX and Gb argument is over. Looks like we were just misinterpreting what grimm said(which does happen on the internet)
#3 - Ozzy personal attacks are not nice
#4 - Zapper personal attacks are not nice
#5 - Apoch stupid comments are not nice
#6 - This whole flame fest could have been avoided I believe if ONLY SysX and GB had been involved in discussing the lag issue
#7 - PROFIT!
