An investor I know had an interesting angle on the future of the marijuana industry.
He is under the belief that eventually all the medical marijuana grower will be bought out by the big pharmaceutical companies.
He told me that when big pharma buy companies they usually over pay to take control of the industry.
With that in mind he has invested small amounts in a few of these companies with the hope of a nice payout should big pharma move in.

Personally I'm still up in the air on whether I should invest in this industry or not.

I don't smoke the stuff but I agree it would be the best return on investment.
If marijuana does become legal in Canada part or the deal is ever citizen can grow 2 plants.
Although I'm not a user I'm thinking I might just try and grow 2 plants just for @#(!z and giggles.
Then give the harvest to friends. :)

Growing weed is pretty interesting. I was assisting in a collective grow OP for a while that was supplying a chain of dispensaries.

I think the most interesting thing about weed is how its growth cycles are determined by how much light/dark they get, unlike most other things that just operate on a general timeline.

You can keep weed plants in a particular part of their growth cycle indefinitely if you don't change the duration of their light exposure.

Also, spider mites are a pain in the ass. and hermaphrodite plants are weird.

One time I transplanted a bunch of starts from the start room into bigger pots in a grow room and within minutes I watched them all droop and try to die from the shock of sudden environmental change.

They're both really sensitive and really resilient at the same time.

I remember the time when my weed forum bar here was mod-edited years ago. How times have changed :)

I feel old.

If you are legally allowed to buy "stuff", make sure you are not smoking fertilizer, weedkiller and pesticides.

Also I encourage the EU and the UK to legalize weed so we don't have all those roaming weedheads.
