Actually, since Jones only won by one point, and pretty much half the state voted for Moore, I'd still call it a so-so day for Alabama.

It's nice to not have another idiot in the US Senate though.

Well you have to take it into context of who they were. Keep in mind this was a state that was almost 30 percentage points in favor of the Republican candidate across the last like, three times they voted.

No one's impressed if the 49ers beat the Giants, but even if the 49ers were 3-10 if they won two road games in Foxboro and Seattle it would still be impressive and a sign of tremendous growth... and growth can be great.
